my son had a retained testicle his testicles were normal at birth then all of a sudden there was only one there the doctors did a watch an wait to see if it decends back into the sack his went back after a few weeks but i remember they said something about being able to do a small procedure to get it back down again im not sure if it requires surgery or not as we didnt get that far to find out
