Return to sport after a stent.

Hallo

I'm new to the forum.

I'm 40 years old and recently (6 months ago) had a stent procedure.

I didn't have a stroke ,my EF is 70% ,i had it because I found out I had a very high CAC value.

All my exams after this are very good.

Blood exams with very low cholesterol and lipids (Ldl 58,Hdl 55).

I'm taking my medications religiously.

Stress test, stress echo both fine (best I've ever had even compared to those in my teen years).

I've been a serious amateur weightlifter for all my life and it's a very special part of me.

It's my life,I'm a weightlifting coach with my own crossfit gym.

I have already resumed training with very low intensity (30% of max on weights lifted).

Have introduced a cardio program hat has me down 15 kilos in bodyweight and reduced my resting heart rate from 85 to 65 bpm.

The question is this : Can i resume lifting weights as I used to ?

I'm not willing to risk anything and training is pretty much self-regulating ,meaning that I will not exceed a certain level of exertion no matter what.If this level is 50% I'll stop there,if it is more I will stop there.

I feel fine, things that used to make me tired now are very easy,I can walk for 2 hours straight with the only problem being the heat whereas in the past walking for more than 15 minutes was a struggle.

This is as much objective as it gets,i'm not just eager and optimistic I really am well and ready.

Which more exams would be needed in order to see if I'm ready for more intense lifting workloads ?

all tests seem to be suitable for cardio exercise and not lifting weights.

Do you think I'm ready to resume a more intense lifting program ?

thanks in advance for your help.
