Reverse fusion?

Posted , 16 users are following.

When I received my diagnosis a month or so ago, I spent a lot of time reading this forum and learned an overwhelming amount of information. One post that stood out was someone who had managed to somewhat reverse their fusion with a baking soda spray treatment. I can't find that post, or remember what thread it was posted on, and I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. If there is anyone else who has managed to reverse their fusion, I would love to hear about it.

hi , I can remember reading about a girl who used organic apple cider vinegar to reverse fusing !. She said it worked on exfoliating the rough skin and caused it to return  unfurled to the clitoral idea . She said she poured it on to damp cotton wool and dabbed it on the skin . Hope this helps you . Jackie .

That was Hanny. You'll see her in current discussions. She also had a dilation procedure under anaesthetic.

    Hi Susan,

I was totally fused up with just a pin hole for passing urine left and that became a most precarious situation, as you can pretty well imagine.  So my gyno suggested a dilation procedure under full anaesthetic.  After that, to keep all open, I had to start dilating myself; something I still do every other day.

I was afraid of infection and therefore I started to use an old method: rinsing with water in which some baking soda.  To my utter surprise the fusion that was still there started to gradually 'melt' away.  Today not much of the fusion is left.  However, this is not a cure, just deligent maintenance.

Next to twice weekly applying the smallest amount of globetasol I rinse with baking soda water after every bathroom visit (three pinches in a Perin bottle), dab dry and apply coconut oil.  Every other day I sit in a baking soda bath (1/3 cup) and also add some tea tree oil.

Then there is a strict diet: No sugar, no alcohol, no caffeine, limited dairy. (cheese is a sure trigger; I still eat some yoghurt)  I also have started to add probiotics (Kefir) and my further eating habits support a mainly alkaline diet (you can easily find lists on the net)  Sauerkraut is a good item for instance.  Just to keep a good Ph balance.

In addition I also am on hormone replacement, a natural friendly kind via my nature path.

I believe that it is the whole of this package that makes my LS liveable.  What's more, gentle intercourse is possible again, which contributes to my overal well being.

    Wishing you well.

I just started applying apple cider vinegar with a q-tip. I first used it undiluted (bad idea), but today I mixed with water. I think my labia minor may be starting unfuse/reappear! I'm on maintenance of Clobetasol twice per week, plus compounding estrogen cream, but neither of these have repaired the fusing problem. I'll keep you guys posted, but I'm getting a little hopeful with the ACV application. There are many people on Facebook forums swearing by Borax soaks; however, I am still not comfortable doing this, as every esteemed medical professional warns against doing this.
