The operation was a long one with a blood transfusion. 3 months later all has been replaced and pelvis repaired. There is very little bone left in leg now. Now 4 weeks after op am on crutches. As I walk I can hear it clunking around hip area. Doing any of the excersies given at the moment give extreme pain. Will this get better.

hi. the information booklet I got from my hospital says some people do get noises coming from their hip and I know I sometimes feel mine clicking altho I'm not conscious of any noise.
as for your pain I'd like to think it will get better. 4 weeks is very early even for what might be seen as an uncomplicated op . make sure you're taking your painkillers tho .
best wishes for a good recovery

it's ok. trouble is every OP is different even if done by same surgeon plus sounds like you've had an extensive amt of surgery
