Rezum after Surgery symptoms

So I've had rezum done aprox 2months ago. After the 7 days with the catheter it was removed. My flow was great, I even went hrs without urinating. I ended up back in the ER about 3 weeks later to have the catheter put back in. I suddenly couldn't urinate at all and waited 7 days until the pain was unbearable. Antibiotics didn't work so the catheter went back in for 10 more days.

Now 2 months later, I am still having discomfort when I need to urinate in my urethra, the tip of my penis. also rectal discomfort most of the time and difficulty defecting.

Now I will suddenly have an urge to urinate, pain in my penis and I can barely retain and have already had leakage.

Any of this happen to anyone else and did it go away?

The surgeon just says remember it is worse before it gets better?

I'm sorry for what you are going through. You were talked into this by your doctor. Some doctors are like car salesmen.

WHY ARE MEN STILL HAVING THIS PROCEDURE. IT IS THE WORST TO HEAL FROM

Did your doctor tell you that you may take up to a year to see some results. Did you not read some of the men on here took a year to heal and they are still on medication and doing CIC.

I do feel sorry for you but what's done is done. God Bless and Take Care
