Rezum - not as good as advertised

I had rezum procedure July 9 2021

It has been an absolute disaster. For the last 2 months, I have had to use Permanent and self catheters, had sepsis, ecoli, got covid at the hospital

Basically have not been able to pee at all for 2 months!

Finally went to see a different consultant who is one of the top two in country for rezum procedure. He said that he had lost a lot of confidence in rezum, that problems are not being talked about and now he rarely offers it. He said its obvious that the rezum had not worked, 3 days later he performed a TURP, 12hrs later I was a new man.

He commented that the inside of my bladder was completely blistered and will take weeks to get better.

Buyer beware but I would not go anywhere near this procedure.

    Glad you are doing better. Sorry that you had to have a Turp Which type did you have. Do you have a Ejaculation Sparing Turp or was that not a issue

    I wish men would stop having this procedure ( Rezum ) But in this world doctors will push anything to make money.

    I have counted you in on the Rezum. Been keeping track for over 5 years. You are number 11 for having a Turp after the Rezum
