Hi im due to start some new medication at the end of the month, and I was just wondering if anyone can tell me if it has worked for them, ie stopped the stiffness and aching in a morning and the everyday inflammation?? I have had a steriod injection in my bottom three weeks ago and I had a steroid injection in my knee on wednesday my knee is improving but my entire legs from hips down ache and my foot is still very swollen, the medication I will be starting is Sul????? Cannot remember how to spell it (sorry)

    who works for 1 might not any one eise .

    dont for get u might fell better or make u sick ,

    injections i found they dont last but thats me . 

    and tablets loads of problems i get and taking ended up with gut problems .

    any tip make sure u read and if say eat b4 smile .

    Hi Jeanette.

    i think you probably means sulphsalazine .  Some people take it with no problems at all and some have side effects.  I took it for a while and initially it worked well but then I started having more pain. I take methotrexate and a biologic drug. Persevere with it and if you do get side effects tell your rheumatology nurse and they will look at the situation again. Hope it works for you and good luck.

      If it's sulphsalzine, I've been on it for years with no problem so far.
