Has anyone tried rituximab infusion for arthoritis and if so did it work

    Hi

    I'm on Rituximab now I've had 1 infusion in August,but haven't seen any difference as yet I was told it takes 6 months to start working.Im also on Methotroxate injections.But a few weeks ago, I had to go back on Steroids as i had a bad flare up.The Steroids seem to be working in conjunction with everything else.I have to go back in February and then he will be able to say whether he thinks Rituximab is working, and do I need to continue with it.My friend has the infusions and she says there wonderful.

    Doesn't work for everybody and didn't work for me. had 2 infusions then started to have strange tripping and involuntary movements so told no more biologics for me

    Tammy, I have not taken this drug. I am now on Oriencia but rituximab will be the next drug as Iam having problems with Oriencia.  I was just on a page where patients that were taking rituximab where giving reviews and the reviews were very good and everyone that was taking the drug called it a “lifesaver or wonder drug”. I wish you the best, Jo
