Hi a 'll I have been to see the rheumatologist to day he took another blood test to confirm if I have pmr or rta as he said I should be on a considerable lower dose of pred by now if I had pmr I tried to show him Eileen s notes she sent me reg pred and Ben no difference to other's that are not on pred he was just so arrogant when I told him it takes more that 14 months to get off it he said no it doesn't arrogant man I've had blood pressure done it was quite high I asked him if he was worried about it he said no as it gives the wrong reading in hospital as it could be your wArm well if it gives the wrong reading at hospital why do they take it then grrrr he got me so cross . I've had a bone density scan it came back as I have osteoporosis I told him I have problems acid and still bringing blood up so they not giving me tablets I've to go have intravenous zoledronate instead thank you all in advance

    I was taking my older sister to a rheumy, she was slilghtly confused and had no understanding of medical problems, so I was interjuecting information to him.  He was SO rude ;to me, didn't want to hear anyithing I had to say.  Unbelievable!  Finally on one visit he said to me that he thought he may have been rude to me, which I replied "yes you were, but I accept your apology". I wonder who theyi think they are!

      Elijo, some in the medical profession believe they are playing God, therefore they are God and we should accept their word as the word of God. How could you a mere mortal question their word. Stay positive and try to smile. ☺️

      God doesn't think he is a doctor...

      Reminds me of the joke where this guy is lording over everyone in hospital. Someone asks who he is and the reply is “Oh that’s God, he thinks he’s a doctor!”

      The version I heard was that there was a long line at the gates of Heaven and one guy marched to the top of the queue.  " Who does he think he is?"   " That's God; he thinks he's a doctor."
