morning; and Yes ; Yes I have. I have had really bad pain in left side of ribs; including a 'popping ' which i thought was my rib breaking from over stretching. the pain brought me to my knees. I had xray which I had to create about as the doctor did not think necessary. To be fair Xray was clear so I asked the doctor if my symptoms could be related to hormones; to which he just laughed. I haven't been back to see him... I have also had painful left breast/ side with no reason that can be found. again I would say related to menopause.

hope this helps . take care

Yes this happens to me. I get the breast pain and then it radiates down into my rib cage area and sometimes towards my back under the shoulder blade. It's so uncomfortable.

I'm so sorry to hear about your pain but it is such a relief to know that I am not the only one and others are experiencing the same; and the doctor that laughed at me may need to revisited the medical page on MENOPAUSE

That's the problem with them, they dismiss our claims as having nothing to do with hormones. If they took all of what we say and coupled it with some research then they would see that there is indeed a link to these symptoms and hormones.

Yes!!! I have been having this for a year. I was misdiagnosed with gerd since I get burning pain in my sternum and I'm ribs ache very tender to the touch. After having an endoscopy, full cardiac work up, x-rays the Drs all told me they werent sure what it was. So they put me on anti acids for 3 months and a anti inflammatory diet. After 3 months the pain had not gotten any better so I went and saw a different Dr since by then my regular Dr thought I was a hypochondriac . I requested a female Dr instead. I went and saw her and she said I had costochondritis more than likely brought on by stress and anxiety. Plus she did not rule out it being from hormones and peri menopause, like my regular Dr did ( who is make). So she put me on a course of anti inflammtories and lexapro and Xanax for my anxiety . It's has improved a lot though I still have the rib pain it is not as painful as before. I found that if I use cbd oil in a roll on and roll it all over my rib cage it provides great relief from the pain. Massage helps a lot too and I alternate heated packs with ice packs. Hope this helps!

I know how difficult it is when you try to explain to you make doctor about all our pains and aches. I'm afraid to see my doctor now because he might think I'm going nuts😣
