Hi Janet. Yes rib pain was one of the worst symptoms i experienced in the beginning. of peri, followed by slow breaths. It was a dull, sharp achy pain. Took x-ray and ultrasound and results showed nothing. Rib pain is a part of peri. In time it will pass. I found that using a hot water bag helped a bit. Hang in there. God bless 🙏

    Hey Janet...

Chronic rib pain is definitely menopausal. I've experienced it! It came from out of nowhere, I thought it was acid reflux, it was not. It paid me an unwelcome visit roughly two years ago; it lasted for at least three weeks. I used a warm compress to ease the pain. I did my research and discovered, countless women suffer with it throughout their meno journeys. The term for the dreadful pain is COSTOCHONDRITIS, as Toria stated. Make sure you STAY hydrated. Be well, my menopausal sistah!
