Get tested for a potential pulmonary embolism. It is really important to get tested as soon as possible as PEs can kill you. If your GP isn't interested go to A&E and say you are really worried about a PE and you want a d-dimer blood test. HRT is one of the main causes for PEs.

It is always better to be safe than sorry. Are you getting any breathing issues or palpitations? I got multiple pulmonary emboli from the pill and my pain started on the right side and moved up into my armpit. I had this feeling like something was leaning on my chest, then stabbing pains and I had problems taking in a deep breath. I then started experiencing very unpleasant palpitations. I got ice cold chills and very hot sweats. I also got cramps and pins and needles.

There is a good chance this may not be what it is, but I feel like I should tell you it is a possibility because I got very ill before I was diagnosed and would hate for someone else to experience what I did if it could have been avoided.
