Right hallux Valgus correction

Hi. I've gone ahead and had my other Bunion removed and big toe straightened 4days ago (2 years after last one)..This time I will take it slowly. Other foot seems to have healed well despite all it had done to it. Only problem is that my left ankle and foot appear slightly swollen. Wondering if this is due to to antiembolic stocking I'm wearing or co codamol I'd taken which also leaves me dizzy. Therefore trying not to take any pain relieve. Last had some over 24 hours ago but still have a dizzy feeling going on.

Hi there!  I do not know that medication.  I did have oxy after my surgeries and that always left me dizzy.  Of course, there is swelling in the foot that was just corrected.  I had a splint right after surgery and I was on crutches.  Whenever I got up to use the bathroom (non-weight bearing, only got up for the bathroom) my non-surgery foot was always swollen a bit because all of the weight was totally on it alone. That has lasted throughout the splint, plaster cast and I am now in a boot and walking a little at a time---the swelling is a daily thing and whenever you sit, you need to elevate your feet.  Be sure not to underestimate how draining this is and exhaustion is completely normal.  Take it really slow and take good care of yourself.
