right lower pelvic pain ibs

Does anyone have pain low in rt pelvis. Thought ibs was only on left so am very worried, have had pelvic and abdo ultrasound all clear pleasehelp

    I am unsure about pelvic but I have below my ribs on my right hand side and spans halfway across towards my navel and puts me in spasms.

    I have never received pain in my left hand side and I definitely have IBS unfortunately. It either doubles me over in pain or if I am pacing my body becomes like outline Tom makes in Tom and Jerry cartoons when he is shocked.

    I am not sure if that helps

    Yes I get pains in right hand side, also around belt line and down legs. Had ultrasound and blood tests recently and all clear.

    Uncomfortable but try to forget about it,

    I think my health anxiety is as much to blame.

    Yep my IBS pain also manifests as specific lower right pelvic pain (middle hip area) usually dull pain but can be sharp. Also get diffuge lower pelvic pain and pain down legs. Same lower right pain for my cousin also. Formally diagnosed with IBS following many normal test results. My GI said it can be fairly common in that area as it is where the small and large bowel meet and can be a point of congestion/irritation.

      Hello Maria

      If there is one thing I have learned from being here compared to learning just about my own symptoms is that many different people have many different symptoms. Personally I think IBS is a catch all term so we may have different illnesses but they are just bracketed under IBS. My doc said there may be truth in this as it is an area where experts know so little compared to more easier to diagnose illnesses.

      Hi Michelle

      i get pain low down by pelvis on right side, its aggrivated by eating and some slight relief from opening bowel, normally i never get constipated but recently this pain started at the same time, i have divaticular desease also but only ever on the left and its rare to flare up. Last time i had this right side pain my GP said it was orthopeadic & it lasted from november to january, it was horrible & its is definately bowel related. any advice what to take would be good.     I have IBS with pain that moves all over my stomach, into my back and ribs.  I have had nausea, and twitching inside my stomach.  The pain can start on my left and move to the right or into the middle and can sometimes start on my right and go the opposite way.  The type, and severity can vary throughout the day.  I have had bowel changes such as constipation and soft motions.  I can have dull to deep grinding pain, stabbing pain and neuralgic, sore to touch pain.  My ultrasound, stool samples and celiac test came back clear.  Food causes me no trouble; it was stress that brought on my symptoms.  Everyone experiences IBS differently and what treatment works for one person will not necessarily help  another.

    Has your doctor diagnosed you with IBS?

    Is yours a pain or more of a tightness on the right side? I have a tightness in the area between my hip bone and pelvic bone and I have IBS with constipation. Does yours constantly hurt or just when you have an IBS episode?

      normally my pain is only there when things flare up & i have constipation too. I would love some one to explain exactly what IBS is and how i have caused this flare up. xxx
