Right side lower abdominal pain

Hi, for the past 36 hours or so i have had a sharp stabbing pain in my lower right quadrant, kind of like a sharp cramp only lasting for a few seconds then it disappears. I don't have any symptoms like nausea or vomiting, and feel fine in my self, even putting pressure on where the pain comes from i cant feel anything no ache or soreness, only hurts for a good five seconds when the episode happens then vanishes, could this be appendicitis? cant find anything on the web of what i'm experiencing.

    currently having the same problem.. only that ive had appendoctomy done 8yrs ago.. it happened after doing some ab crunches and ive been having slight pains after stool but apart from that im fine.. any news on your part?
