Right stomach area bulging inwards

Posted , 4 users are following.

When I lean forward always the right stomach area seems to go inward,

If I put my hand on the right side of the stomach I can actually feel it going inward.

This doesn't happen to everyone.

Anyone knows what it is and why it happens?

I talked to the doctor she doesn't seem to think of it much.

I did ultra sound and nothing out of the ordinary came up.

Since your doctor isn't concerned, I wouldn't worry. Maybe you are feeling your abdominal muscles expanding and contracting.

I wouldn't worry about it, especially as the doctor isn't concerned. We all have minor anomalies of one sort or another.

It's just that for 5 years I have been suffering from 24/7 flatluence.

No matter what I eat for the rest of the day gas pressures my rectum and I need to pass all the time.

So everyday I pass around 100-200 gas

    I did many tests

And tried many diets and taking stuff against it and nothing worked.

The doctors don't know the problem behind it.

So I thought maybe this stomach going inside might have something to do with it, but the doctors seem clueless...

Hi, you know that is normal! But mostly we are unaware of passing as much gas as we do.

If it's very troublesome you could try cutting down beans etc in your diet and also any carbonated drinks, sodas and such. Otherwise I wouldn't worry at all.

Your abdomen will go in when you bend forward because of the muscles working.

I have heard someone say the same thing.

But I still don't understand, that if that is so, why do I physically see it going inward and feeling it going inward when I put my hand on it, while with others I don't see it nor feel it when they lean.

If this is bothering you, then you need to go back to your doctor. There really isn't any other answer.

Everyone is different. Others may not see it or feel it because they aren't looking for it. Maybe it doesn't happen when you are with other people. Muscle movements can be subtle and barely noticeable. There are many functions and processes that our bodies go through that we are unaware of. Perhaps, you are more aware of it because you are concentrating on it. If you are touching your abdomen, you will be able to feel your muscles expanding and contracting. When you move about, you will also be able to feel the muscles. How do you know this doesn't happen to everyone? Since your doctor is unconcerned, I would forget about it.

Everyone passes gas, although some get more than others. I pass loads of very loud gas.frequently several times a day, but I don't worry about it because it is normal for me. Try doing a food diary to see if any food causes it. Beans, broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, spinach are common culprits. This is the best explanation I can come up with as non medic. However, if you are still needing further insight into this phenomenon, your best option is to see your doctor again who will have a better understanding of physiology than me or you can try seeing a different doctor. If no doctor can give you answers and you are not feeling ill, I would try to accept what you have been told and not focus on it.
