    Hi Dee

I'm not a medical person, but is there any swelling on those ribs (2nd & 3rd) sounds a bit like Tietze Syndrome (possibly) it's where the cartilage becomes inflamed, although generally there would be pain in that area....just a thought. There is also Costochondritis but this affects ribs lowers down 4, 5, and 6th ribs.

Don't be brushed off with the anxiety diagnosis, be persistent. Can you get a second opinion?

    All the Best

Hi thanks for comment, its more of a dull ache, doing chest exercises feels like pressure on one of those bones, that rib does protude slightly more than the other side, I have seen about 6 doctors since feb 2015 all keep telling me the same.

Hmmmm yes that's a lot of docs, hasn't one of them sent you for a chest xray? I mean have they done other tests to check you over, rule out other things.

I'm just thinking, do you exercise regularly? have you tried to have a complete break from it and rested to see if it eases? Surely these doctors can see it's troublesome to you over such a long period of time, when you've seen so many.
