Ringing ears / white noise

I have constant high pitched white noise in my ears ever since i got mono.

Those of you who have the same, is yours more like a ringing or white noise?

Does it get better?

Out of all my symptoms this is the one thing that really scares me. Im terrified it will never go away. I cant have a room be quiet because it feels like my brain will explode.

I just started Monilaurin today and really hoping that will work.

    Hi Emilie,

    I've had non stop ringing / buzzing noise in my ears since January. It's happening as I type

    this reply !!

    Some days, it's only in one ear or not as loud as other times, but it's always there keeping

    me "company."

    Honestly, I've learned to live with it but my God, I hope it goes away at some point.

    I think it's the EBV / Mono causing Tinnitus through inflammation.
