Hi edell so sorry no solution for you.. Just wanted to know if you also suffer from migraines aura off balance and dizziness? I do know that this is one of my worst symptoms the migraines and dizziness all of it goes together with the ringing in my ears, as soon as any of this starts , the migraine follows within a day or so.. Hope you get relief soon...

Hi Edell, God, I hope you do not develop migraines! I have since peri came to town....my ears ring daily. Like Gypsy, I get migraines and off balanced, drunk feelings. Also, head pressure was a biggie for over a year...I was told so many times, anxiety, sinus infection, allergies, etc...ended up taking Lexapro for 3 months. My migraine pain lessened in that time...however, my head pressure and off balanced was twice as bad. went off of it. I believe I was having silent migraines. I saw a otoneuro the other day...he said that migraine can mimic sinus infections...forehead, nose, eye pressure.
Last year, My ear test came perfect...even though my ears were screaming the whole time

Lou I have been following your posts. I have some of the symptoms you mentioned especially head pressure and ear ringing. I am praying for all of us, that we find our normal selves again soon. let me know if you find anything that helps with your symptoms. I am thinking to go see a neurologist.

Hi there! I absolutely will. Def go see a neuro or even better an otoneuro which is a neurologist for the ear, nose and throat...they specialize in figuring out how the inner ear and brain work together...balance, etc. I had to go to an eye and ear hospital to find one. Just had awful wailing in my ears...did some house work...felt a headache coming on, took 2 excedrin. acetaminophin makes my ringing worse...I should have known better! 😦

Hi ampat, I enabled the message thing...please try again!!
Anyways, please do not suffer, try something. Migraine does not always produce that throbbing pain. I believe the head pressure and weird neuro symptoms can be silent migraine too. I get both.
I had a really good day yesterday...cleaned the house, laundry, walked outside. I had to rest a couple of times, but my stamina was pretty good. My head feels clear. Did get head pressure going from warm house to outside freezing air...but it was brief. Also, got the pulling forehead, jelly legs and off balance, but in short bursts. I am 1 month in on nortriptyline and elimination diet....along with my regular vitamins. I have to go for balance testing this week and see the otoneuro and probably the med will be increased.

My ringing started 2 years ago, sometimes its really loud more so when I am anxious and strangely not as bad if I drink wine! Im just hoping it goes away on its own. Fun though I have acid reflux so wonder if it is connected?

yes I have ear ringing, along with head pressure and tension headaches. It started about 8 months ago when peri hell started, anxiety palpitations, panic attacks. I am wondering if it's silent migraines brought on by hormones. I had no issues prior to perimenopause so it has to be the hormones. I can hear my heart pounding in my right ear. I have tried low dose birth control but not much help, now I am just praying and waiting for a day my hormones settle and all these symptoms go away
