Hey Guys,

Does anyone have experienced it or know about it. " Roemheld Syndrome".

Basically what happens is whenever I have meals palpitations begin. Means pulse remains normal around 75 but feeling like heart is beating strongly. This remains like this for 3 or 4 hours and then again normal. Every meal causes this. But yes the quantity of meal is the most important factor about the intensity and duration of the palps. Light meals like fruits Don't cause this. This problem has been from 4 years. Although I am now habitual to it. Had Ecg, Thyroid, Lipid profile, Echocardiogram of heart all normal. I can exercise normally. Just the annoying palps. i watched a video on YouTube about it called the roemheld Syndrome. Rarely any doctor knows about it. Every doc says it's anxietybut i know it is not. anyone has it or had it and now cured.

Can't believe you have posted my symptoms

I'm exactly the same same bit have been keeping a food and drinks diary and one thing I have found is that my liquid intake was possibley too low so I have increased my water intake and found it does help as well as cutting down on carbs.

I do think that it's a bit of a viscous circle as well because it does make me feel anxious as well

    How's your sleep
