Rogue pain

Posted , 4 users are following.

So it turns out that the pain I've been experiencing is not from my hip but my lower back! My core needs strengthening but everything else is fine. Got clearance for a sports massage tomorrow and told to use stick for another couple of weeks to keep pressure off. I've been doing too much so he'd to slow it down a bit. Need to concentrate on walking heel toe and turn foot out as it was creeping in. So glad that it's nothing serious 😊

You got it Susan. It is all so overwhelming. I am sorry that you have to go thru this and it is not as easy as others who have not been there think.

My PT was so instrumental in getting my buns and legs back.

In in a few months you will be MUCH better. Walkin his helpful as we were walking with lop sided hip missing  cartiledge 1/4 shorter for months kinda makes the back, knees out for wack. In time I pray you will be back enjoying a better quality of life.

I think the doing too much is a prob. I've been walking lie a duck for so long, I've got to retrain to get my knees together.  They fight!

    hi susan,

it makes a difference when you know where your pains are coming from, isn't it?

we live so much in our body that every little twinge or spasm we feel.. and yes, our body has supported us the best she could before the needed surgery - now we have been put straight and that comes with a slew of different niggles ...

The learning to walk properly was quite challenging for me --- I wanted to do it perfectly each time and forgot to relax ... oh well, our body will let us know ...

easy does it, darling ... you know what they here right?  not a sprint !!!

    big warm hug

Good to hear that it was minor. Glad it was easier to work with
