Rolled ankle and completely tore a ligament help

Long story short I lost a fight with a vacuum cleaner cord and ended up in the ER with what they call an avulsion fracture and a

"Complete tear of

the anterior talofibular ligament & high grade sprain injury of the calcaneofibular ligament. Scattered osseous contusions." (do not know what this contusion thing is..)

I did not get the results of the Mri till yesterday. So roughly 5 1/2 weeks now since the fall.

On the MRI it shows that the piece that broke off bone itself is healing, so I’m grateful for that. The zoom doctor was shocked though that there was a tear. She has sent me to a clinic this week at the hospital to see what they can do. . She said this is a bad situation and can take 4 to 6 months to heal! After I got off I decided to not go down that negative Nelly route. I am determined to fix this.

I want to know what to do as first do not want surgery. I am all about physiotherapy, that’s not a problem, but I would like to hear other stories of what was done to do a fast healing. if they took specific natural things as well. when will I be able to start walking too.

I find that a community like this can be really helpful so thus im here.

Currently I have it weapped in a support wrap. im using crutches, a knee mobility scooter, a boot, and I tippytoe hop around a lot. I don’t have a lot of pain and I’m not on any meds.
