Has anyone had vertigo during menopause whereby the room was spinning?

    hi nettie yes i was like it but settled down on hrt. slowly coming back thou now. its bloody awful xx

    Yes - it has happened to me twice in the last few years. It was awful. I literally could not walk straight and had the dry heaves - it made me so nauseous. It was so scary. I panicked. In both instances, I had to sit propped up in bed and not move for a few hours. Then it just passed.

    Hi Nettie - the dizziness and vertigo is by far my very worst symptom. I take prescription Meclizine (Dramamine) as needed and it helps a little. It is going on four months now, but it is starting to ease up a bit. Take good care and know that you are not alone. There are many wonderful women on this forum who have reported similar symptoms. Wishing you well.
