Hello! This surgery was performed on 10/23/20. Was doing great heading into week 9. no issues previously with all ROM and feeling pretty good . Started with 3 pound weights and some simple strength exercises now shoulder very achy and sore. it is making some noises but that actually doesnt hurt just concerning. the bicep region is sore all the time. i can lift arm to the side and above my head without pain, slight discomfort, just concerned that i may have done damage. not sure how this should feel at this stage of the game PT said all is normal and if i re injured i would know. i had a lot of stuff done to my shoulder so wondering if this is all normal. i am gonna take it easy for a few days and not do any PT and see if it settles down. Thoughts?

    hi Gary

mmmmm seem the same. I had decompression surgery 18th sept. went really good. off the sling working out from .5 kg up to 3 kg. using resistance bands ( built a gym in the garage to help me through this.

I was on fire working out and back to work 7 weeks later ( i have a heavy job ).

done all that was said. done it by the book. had physio private each week post 3 weeks. no pain good movement.

DEC18th DIFFERENT STORY. in the past 3 weeks or so i have driven backwards in top gear.

I now have night aches back ( also suffer from bi-lateral frozen joints). movement is down to 50% generally through all motions and i hurt on the operated shoulder. enough to start back on pain meds.

also have got me toys out the loft to assist in pain relief ( t-shellz electro magnetic cuff) google it it helps lots and me cryo cuff ready for action.

really not looking forward to work tomorrow as i have them pain grunts back again as i try to move and lift.

mine is long head bicep tendon and deltiod pain. i thought it was just me. missed 2 physio sessions pre christmas. had put it down to that.

reading your post seems same kind a thing. will be talking to physio tomoz i hope

    colin
