Rough day with symptoms - please pray for me

Hi Ladies,

I am having a really rough symptom day today, and just need to vent to ladies who understand.

I slept ok for a few hours, but woke up in a panic way before dawn... that swirling, feel like your falling panic and doom and dread.

Got up feeling like my arms and legs are made of lead.

Aches in every joint... neck, shoulders, elbows, hips, back, knees, toes... even my ribs hurt.

Gagging if I move to fast.

Brain fog.

Peeing every 15 minutes, constant pressure down below.

Every bit of my body is so dry it feels hideous, except my face and my scalp which are the oiliest they've ever been.

Had to fight hard to do the morning routine successfully,... no energy.... and was so tense when I dropped off my daughter at school that I cried after she walked in the bldg.

Tried to cheer myself up with a iced mocha... took one drink and spit it out... stomach started churning immediately.

Sat down to work (our office is still work from home), and was so tense I was shaking. So I told my boss I have to step away for a bit.

I have been fighting migraines for a week straight, and all the symptoms that come with those before, during and after.

I just have nothing left to give, and don't know what to do to fill my tank again until I can see the gyne on the 28th and beg to test my hormone balance and hopefully up my dose of hrt.

Sorry for the rant. Please pray for me if you get a moment.

Thank you lovelies!

Sara

Prayers to you. A lot of what you described is good ole fashioned anxiety. I'm an expert at it.The peeing every 15 minutes is a major sign. When mine was at my worst, I peed every 5 minutes, and it was a lot of pee.I thought where is all this coming from. I think our bodies go through so much during this phase, it makes us do the same. Hang in there, we can only pray it gets better. 🙂

      Hi Beth,

Ah yes, I am positive there is an anxiety component there. It's been quite the migraine week, and it does make me anxious... wondering when the attack will end, trying to fight the symptoms to do the few things that can't be put off or delegated.

Thank you for sitting with me in the moment! It means a lot.

I'm praying for you. Menopause is a beast but you will get through! Hang on and know that you are not by yourself and it does get somewhat better. I used to be on here a lot but symptoms have gotten better. My biggest issue now is bloating. I've had your same symptoms but they will leave and you WILL feel better. Thank God that he's a healer Sending hugs and prayer

Hi Sara, I feel much the same. my symptoms come and go and I get different combinations, which adds to the fun. I had my Covid booster last Thursday and since then I've seen my menopause symptoms return in anger. Of course the side effects of the vaccine are closely aligned with menopausal ones too. But I am waking in the early hours with flashes of heat, chills, nausea and a headache. It terrifies me and then my anxiety goes through the roof.

I am on HRT but think I need an adjustment.

i feel so alone and scared. Do any of you relate?

    Thanks.

      Hi Hilary,

Yes, I can relate to everything you said here. You are not alone. It is scary. I've had bloodwork and scans, and nothing sinister found. Yet, I feel so awful. How in thw world will I ever know if I do get truly ill?

      It's maddening.

Hugs to you, and I hope you find some relief soon.

      Sara
