does anyone know what these balls are? They are soft and have white crystal looking things in them?

Hi, arrange a GP appointment and ask for a stool sample pot to have with you for the appointment. I had something similar to this, looked like a clump of frozen peas but a creamy colour. I had to provide a stool sample and put one or two in with it and also had numerous blood tests. Nothing showed up from the sample tested but as I was having other problems, severe abdominal pain, diarrhoea and a close family history of bowel cancer I was referred for an urgent colonoscopy (still waiting), as the wait was far longer than expected I was referred for an ultra sound to check my gallbladder and NAFLD was discovered. Still no reason for the balls but my gallbladder was checked and seems to be fine. I had them for over 2 weeks off and on but now stopped so hopefully for both of us it was nothing serious. But do see your GP or nurse just to be on the safe side.

I have no idea what they can be but I just wanted to say that there was a post on here some time ago that had almost exactly the same thing and it had a lot of replies. Maybe try searching for that post using "round bloobs in poop" or something to that effect in the search engine.
