I had a bad bout flu ,followed by a virus ,that just knocked me off my feet for weeks ,and I haven't really recovered from it, a recent scan showed further damage to my air ways, so this might be of help to me,,,,thanks again

lfour exploratory studies, inhaled RPL554 is an effective and well tolerated bronchodilator,  , and anti-inflammatory drug and further studies will establish the full potential of this new drug for the treatment of patients with COPD or asthma.

The above statement was copied from a similar but a far reaching  online article about a possibly better treatment for many pulmonary diseases.

Altho the RPL554 findings and benefits  are easily available online, it appears that none of the general run of health professionals,  neither my GP nor any other health professionals that I have asked have ever heard of any new treatments for Asthma or COPD or at least they deny any such product exists, and keep prescribing the normal known treatments for such complaints. My own experience of the usual prescriptions for pulmonary ailments such as my own are very very negative altho I have very little idea what my life would be like without them. My faith in their effectiveness is waning.

As a long term sufferer of COPD my current lifestyle is governed by the various medications available to me. I had no idea (neither did many health professionals) till I googled for some COPD info that a “cure” was already around the corner as it were. I have even offered my services for any testing that needs to be done with RPL554.

I have had this complaint for some years altho it was only comparatively recently that COPD was diagnosed, and ever since the initial treatments did very little good so I then started to look for some other relief of this condition. All I ask is for someone to let me know if there is any release date yet set  for RPL554 to be available on the NHS.

I have written numerous letters to Professionals involved in the research but as yet, I have only had poor  response, but I shall keep writing till I get at least a reply
