RSL and high-intensity exercise

Posted , 1 user is following.

I have recently been diagnosed with RLS which started following menopause. I also have a history of chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia since the late 1990s.

I am a retiredd group fitness instructor of high-intensity exercise, and still take part in spin and BodyPump, where I can still train hard, even though I now also have osteoarthritis. I can still lift the same weight in BodyPump, I was lifting 20 years ago!

I do not intend to reduce the intensity or frequency of the exercise that I love and that is a very big part of my life. However, I have noticed that my RLS is worse on training days (at 60, I no longer train every day and now have recovery days), especially after BodyPump.

Has anyone else experienced the same please?
