Rubber band ligation - how long for results?

Posted , 5 users are following.

i had rubber band ligation on 3 Stage III internal hemmorhoids 2 weeks ago. Everything I've read says they should shrivel and drop off between 3-5 or at most 7 days. Mine are still prolapsing out!

I presume the procedure has failed, correct?

Everyone is different Will i was in a lot of pain after i had banding and the treatment did not that great for me. After banding I gave electrotherapy a go and it worked wonders for me - I am now symptom free after one treatment!

I had banding done twice already as well and I don't even know if any of them had dropped off to be honest...I just had some bleeding again a few days ago with a tiny bit of stinging/burning sensation, and it's been 3 weeks ish after the last banding session. I don't even know if it's because they'd just fallen off or if banding didn't work at all. Sorry this is probably not that helpful but just FYI! :\

It took me weeks after i had 2 banding's. Punching/stinging, bleeding ect...for weeks. i was freaking out. Remember each bm can re open healing site. Now 4 months later...still have good and bad days. if i strain or not enough water,fiber....i pay the price
