My eyes and mouth are so itchy, my nose won't stop streaming, I'm exhausted and I can't sleep. What meds work best and are there any other treatments you would recommend?

I have suffered from perennial rhinitis all my life. It's a kind of hay fever that lasts all year long. No medication seems to work. I tried all the anti-histamine tablets from the GP or over the counter. But since I have been taking a medicine for another ailment (eczema), my rhinitis has subsided significantly. The medication in question is an immuno-suppressant called Azathioprine. You can only get it by prescription from your GP. It's a strong medicine, but if your allergy is making your life a misery, you might want to give it a go if your GP agrees. I wish you well.
