Ruptured disc

I ruptured my L5 S1 two years ago and have been in and out of hospital since then and had two lots of spinal blocks which helped me no end

The pain has returned the avengence its depressing me what do I do have the op ???

    See a spine specialist. There are many treatments available. I had herniated disc and minor surgery to repair the disc.

    Spinal block s are not designed to be long term uve had 2, they didn't work at all mad things worse and me unwell. Had one emergency discectomy in 2013 helped a little for a while. Now awaiting another discectomy and wallis ligament s to support my spine. I've chose this over full blown spinal fusion as the success rate is good and recovery time quicker
