Ruptured Ovarian Cysts?

I have recently had a ultrasound to confirm having ovarian cysts on my right side because of the dull ache I had. I have two 2cm cysts. This morning I woke with unbearable pain in my abdominal area(like period pain) I was sweating and had servear nausea because the pain was so intense. Could this be the cysts rupturing? My right side where the cysts are are hurting more than usual after this episode of intense pain

It could definitely be your cysts rupturing. Also, after they rupture, there is fluid that stays in your abdomen for a little while and this can cause severe pain. It is horrible pain. I'm so sorry for you.

Yes, that's likely a rupture, but make sure you're scheduling appointments with your OBGYN to make sure it doesn't develop into something worse.

Some people get relief with heat--I could only do ice, heat made it worse, but that might be because mine turned into an infection.

Ginger ale and mints can help with nausea and I found exercising helped me get over the pain quicker.

But everyone has their own coping and it's going to be a rough 1-2 weeks.
