Sacrocolpoperinepexy

Recently diagnosed with Cystocele, perineal descent, rectocele and enterocele.   Surgery is in August. Sacrocolpperineplexy and TVT sling. It will be robotic assisted which I can not find much info on (as far as results and sexual function afterwards) . Looking for info from someone who has had the POP repaired robotically. Who will share their experience.

I had to have my sling taken down after 12 years of having it in. It was put in too tight and no one told me that I should watch for trouble urinating. As a result, I have done damage to my bladder. Make sure they don’t put the sling in too tight. I have also had all the surgeries you are going to have done but did not have it down robotically. I would love to follow this thread because I have to have all the surgeries done again soon. My doctor told me the repairs last around 14 years on average. I was 35 when I had all those repairs done. So upset that this will likely be an ongoing need for surgery.

Thanks for the reply.  I plan on sharing all of my experience because there is so little information.   I have been  too embarrassed to talk about for so long or to even seek help. It's now affecting to many aspects of my life to ignore.  I just found out surgery has been moved to July 9th!  I'm scared, relieved and hopeful.
