sad news in news papers

yet again the not being normal syndrom has taken a young life in suicide
young girl newly diognosed with Aspergers syndrome commited suicide
daily mail on line .
and a woman suffering from chronic back pain after surgery worsened it spreading into her legs , told everyone she was going out for a walk and also committed suicide .
what the hell is going on in this world that threres so little care and understanding for people who are A, differant in some way .or B in constant pain .that they are driven to such drastic measures .
i have had Fibromialgia for 10yrs and been in constant pain so i speak with understanding of what its like ,And also have Aspergers syndrome
both are extremly diffitcult to live with ,but whats harder is living with inconsiderate people ,and the medical profession that dont listen .
i have accupunture and the big part of that treament is i talk to her and she listens and valadates what i say .
people have no time for anyone these days and doctors have even less
some times people need to talk they need to get it out they need to be listened to .and should be listened to .
i can tell you from experince that being differant isolates you
and being in Pain isolates you ,these are very dangerous situations
that often lead to suciside . please consider others and give them time
it could be a loved one of yours next time . and no amount of wishes or what ifs can bring them back .
TAKE THE TIME TO MAKE THAT OFFER OF HELP
MAKE THAT PHONE CALL
OR MAKE THAT VISIT
IT MAKES SUCH A DIFFERANCE TO THOSE WHO SUFFER DAILY .

I know it's a sad world Tis. These days it is only set to become worse after the election and it comes to surprise when you see statistics like this in the media!
"A letter sent to the ICC at the Hague Re: Mistreatment of the Disabled and Sick"
I have omitted the names that were given in that letter, but they are asking for prosecutions to be taken in to consideration against the people behind it.
or even this!
"Taxing DLA, PIP and AA,
Axeing contribution-based ESA and JSA,
Cutting the work-related activity component of ESA to 50p,
Cutting carers allowance numbers by 40%,
Making people pay the first 10% of their housing benefit."
Our country is now being looked at by distant rich countries, outside the EU, because of the cuts being made in essential areas of our country, for example Benefits, sick and the poor - all being driven to Food Banks (even though we are a rich country, supposedly!). And now those countries wonder why we are now spending millions on weapons, and giving so much away in Aid, yet our Food Banks have increased ten-fold because of the poor and poverty Claiments in this country.
It makes no sense even to countries looking at the UK, does that not say there is major faults and issues with this country?
Does this not raise awareness that if we carry on we will "implode"?
I am dreading what is coming next...
Regards,
Les.

My brother nearly fell for a "Zero Paid Contract" advertised at his local Jobcentre. He phoned me to ask my opinion on applying for it, needless to say I said whatever you don't even look at it.
The contract involved the company requiring the applicants to pay £100 per week for 4 weeks training!! Then you could be on their system.
I told him if he took such a job, that's like giving away £400 to someone in the street and walking away! He said Oh I never knew it meant that, I said if you watch the news lately its always in the news. The trouble is he never watches TV at all, and doesn't even let his own son watch it. How is own son supposed to learn anything thats going on in the world, if he's not even allowed to watch TV at all?

To me it is a very strange way of living, if you can call it that. Our mum and dad were normal people, as far as far as I know I was normal and we had a normal upbringing, so why he lives like this nowadays I will never know.
What I do find is it is, it is hard to talk to him, because basically we have nothing in common whatsoever. The ironic part is I can phone a person on this forum and chat for an hour about alsorts, I know we all have our own problems and people like to listen to others problems or matters, the odd person finds it difficult to talk over the phone - but on the whole, we all have our own ways of communicating.

Les.

My wife and I, at one point years ago was going to take his son on, and bring him up with our own children - there was major problems at my brothers house I phoned the Police and Social Services, because we were concerned about the boy. My brother back then was going to give him up to Social Services, that's how bad it got. My dad was alive back then and gave my brother an ultimatum "Either look after him properly, like you were as a young boy, or I never want to see you ever again!" - Then, my brother decided ti keep him and try bringing him up, but it has been a rough time...and that boy has only had 2 friends in his whole life. Each time he made a friend the whole family moved.
My Wife and I to this day have always said we should have fought for him back then, at least he would have been brought up properly and treated as part of the family, and never gone through all these years of a strange upbringing (if you can call it that!).
After seeing the Paediatrician, I got him to apply for DLA and it was awarded instantly, which just goes to prove that we could see things from an outside perspective, that my brother is unable to even see.
It is very sad...
Regards,
Les.

Likewise, someone with chronic severe pain. They just need a little extra lattitude when they are having a bad day. What laudible fortitude they display on all the other days. It makes me proud to have one as a friend. Fancy! a hero has befriended me.
And so on. Get your big hearted sympathy and patience out of the cupboard and enrich your life.

Some we love ,some we only like ,some we loathe ,but we are all the children of our Creator .
I have to agree with how our poor world seems to be suffering ,it doesn`t seem to be getting any better ,and yes why is it that our country is giving so much money away to other other countries at the expence of our own as has been as has been said when so many have to go to food bankd cap in hand. This is not at all good ,what hapened to that old saying of CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME .
to you my dear friends
Take Care
Love you all

we sent half a megar supplies to help feed the country that bombed us into the ground ,after years of fear loss deprivation the goverment made us suffer more by putting the awful bread we had on ration
which it never was during the war
to feed the germans and others .
not that we shouldnt have helped if we could but we could hardly feed our own we should have come first after 6yrs .
america was better placed then us to help

The thinking was that the allies had been too hard on the Germans and that caused WWII. Some modern historians recon the reparations were light and had little effect on the German economy. My own view is that the weak Weimar government gave a criminal gang an opportunity to high jack a whole country following the Italian model but doing it better.
2015. UK has weak government. Should we be worried?

You don't know me but I'm curious, are you from the USA? I am and we often say that about our government regarding giving money to other countries and negelct ours. I've come to the realization that since everyone is a child of the good Lord, he would want us to look out for the weak or those in desparate need of help with food etc...and since thinking that way, I don't feel as angry about what transpires between other countries. Who do you start to say NO to? I have great sympathy for those who are suffering every day. I feel I will never know what it's like to be hungry or die from mere negelct. That wasn't by choice either. I was given this privilege and I am very thankful for it. That's why I feel we should take care of those who are suffering in ways we will never know.
Anyway, I didn't mean to lecture or anything like that. I just merely mentioned how I've dealt with the spending for other countries and seemingly ours is being negelcted by our own country. Also, while I'm on that subject lol, there are people in our country and probably yours as well that can get out and find work but they've become somewhat lazy because they do get income from our government. Those in other countries do not even have that privilege.
Okay, off my soapbox lol
I've been away for some time due to illness but I'm feeling better and hope to join in on discussions more often.
Best regards,
Frustrated
