Same Fracture

I also had same fracture Feb 2019. Slipped on black ice. I knew it was bad because it seemed as if my ankle was hanging off my leg. I went to hospital that night and had it set in a cast and had to wait for swelling to go down to have surgery. A week later had surgery, screws and plate were put in. The recovery was very difficult and physical therapy is a must. I think because you are young you will bounce back quicker. I am very fit and exercised most days. It has taken many months to feel like my old self. I am thinking down the road to have the metal removed from my ankle. I am back at gym thank goodness. Good luck and speedy recovery.

    good to hear your doing good now!! i guess being young was a big plus for me
