Same problem..... new surgery

Hi all. It's me again. I had to have revision surgery on left knee on March 2nd. Started PT 1 day after getting out of hospital. Dr. discharged me with strict instructions to not put CPM over 30 degrees for 1 week. After that, slowly start moving it up. Trying to help keep scar tissue to a minimum. I went for my 2 week check up yesterday (3/15) and he was upset that my bend was only at 45. He is giving me 1 week to get to 100. I wasn't even at 100 before original tkr in October. The knee still doesn't really want to bend. PT isn't really sure what the Dr. wants from me anymore than I do. I am truly at my wits end. Any suggestions?

I am not an expert as I just had my TKR in Jan but I would go to another doctor.

I am at 7 weeks at 110, your doctors expectations seem unreal.

    Good Luck

Hi, just had my revision to a tkr yesterday. Looking to go home after PT evaluation this afternoon. My initial bend looks about 90 but that was at one moment in time. To start PT on Monday also. All you can do is what you can do. Work with your PT and do your excercises at home. What's your doc gonna do- whack ya with a hammer!? Push as much as you can but not so much as you end up backward with pain. And as long as your good with your PT, work together. I would think she send reports to the doc as to your progress. Good luck and don't quit.
