About 3 months ago I had a feeling of a lump in my throat that has now turned into clicking from Adams apple area when I swallow. Only on left side.

    Hello Trent, have you had any kind of tests performed? Does it make a difference if you eat different foods? That is how my Achalasia started out . Even when I took medications it felt as if it was alwYs stuck in the base of my Throat. Doesn't have to be since I'm sure you know how rare this disease is but give me a little more info please.

    I suggest you go back to the thread "Swollen outer throat, Difficulty swallowing, numb/no sensation when swallowing?" where you, yourself, posted and click on the link that I provided there.  It will lead you to a paper written by some American doctors about clicking in the throat and what causes it.  Doing a bit of research will not hurt you.

    Very vague symptoms to say whether or not this is Alchalasia. Doesn't sound like it. I don't know what could be causing it. Be sure and tell your Dr.
