i can't use alternatives (tampons/cups etc) so am literally just trying to find a towel that isnt a nightmare !

Ones made out of 100% cotton are less irritating for me. They are expensive, though.

Hi Wendy, i was told by my consultant to use only natural ones as all the others use bleach in them to make them white. I use Natra care which i buy from amazon. There is no irritation at all. Cheers Tina x

Sorry I can't help, thankfully I was well past periods when I developed LS.
You have my sympathy though, it must be very uncomfortable, especially in this hot weather, having to use them.
Hope others can offer some good advice.

go to Amazon.com and search cloth sanitary pads. Only get the cotton washable white ones...use a detergent with no dye or additives and only wool balls instead of dryer sheets in the dryer!

I have had the same problem and tried Luna Pads (cotton washable pads) as well as the thick old-school cotton ones you can get from health food stores. They seem to work. Was seeing adds for these period underwear lately on social media called knixwear? Was thinking of trying these as well for light days. Anyone try them?

i keep seeing too am tempted to try but wonder how absorbent they are and if not how much of an irritant that would be. i am trying some reusable bamboo / cotton based towels today from AMAZON . bit scared so far haha they dont feel much when looking at them but reviews are good so hopefully will hold up well !
