Saw my orthopedic PA yesterday

My Dr. was pleased how far I've come. Only she wants me to stretch my flexion. I asked for something to relax the muscles so I can do it. So she prescribed me methocarbamol 750 mg. She warned me I will feel loopy but try to relax so I can do this. Along with physio 4 more weeks twice a week. Anyone been on this meds?

    Can you get in a bath? Nice warm water really helps relax muscles ..I improved my flexion a lot in the bath! Nice relaxing bath salts! Don't know about the medication,

    I was on that med right after surgery.  That and Tramadol.  I tolerated it really well.  I went off all the meds about a month ago, I'm 4 months out.  I'd try it, I only felt loopymwhen I got up at night.

    Yes....from time to time I can feel a little sleepy but honestly, not sure how much it relaxed the muscles.

    I was prescribed methocarbamol 500-750 mg. for the first couple of months along with my pain medication. I thought it REALLY helped!!!
