This contraceptive was the first and the worst that I tried. I put on weight, had terrible mood swings, headaches and a general feeling that something was not right. I was on it for about 9 months before I couldn't take it anymore. I would not recommend to anyone. Plus it hurts like hell for 3 days when you get the jab in you bum. Nothing positive to say about this :twisted: experience.

I have been on Depo for 12 years now and in my book it's the best invention ever. No problems, no periods, no headaches.
Maybe it suits some better than others

i have had the injection for over a year,i dont put the weight on but i have mood swings and suffer constantly with headaches,i tried the implant but that wasnt for me,i cant have the pill cos of my families history so i will have to stick to the depo.
