Scab feeling in throat

Hello, I asked advice for a scab feeling in throat that strangely changes position a lot. I got a reply from some guy who keeps commenting on people's posts saying "oh well, it could be cancer, the only way you're going to know is if you go to a doctor." So, I'm making a new post about this issue.

thats alright, i just had a guy ask me for money for drugs.... we reported him. unfortunately sometimes clowns get on this forum.

to your problem. sounds uncomfortable. do you have allergies or sinus problems? both can cause post nasal drip to run down the back of your throat causing the discomfort you are describing. it could also be anxiety. but what i do is drink lots of cold water. this thins out any mucus that may be there and it soothes the throat. let me know if this helps.

changes positions? hmm, i have never heard of that. um, it makes me think its an object like food or a hard piece of mucus like from your nose. um, have you tried drinking a hot fluid like a decaffeinated tea or decaf coffee to loosen up what ever is down there? could be allergies too, its pollen season, and you could be allergic to pollen, mold or dust and not know it, hence causing post nasal drip down into your throat and mucus. try an over the counter allergy med, like allegra, zertec, claritin, etc., may clear it up. i mean its worth a shot and its s relatively cheap fix and if it works, great right?
