Scab on tip of penis with flakey dry skin around it . Please help!

imageimageso i have this scab on my penis that was once a open sore. The sore had no itch or pain to it at all. There was previous sores or bumps or pimples whatever you want to call it that had no pain either. They were just there... The only weird symptom is I have red bumps on my thighs and buttocks that itch at night and morning. Been also getting bumps here and there that itch on the side of my hand, knees, and side of foot.

I went to the doctors to get checked for everything and it came back negative. The doctor perscribed me Valrax just in case it could be "gential herpes".. ive been taking these pills 1000mg a day for 3 weeks and still havent felt any changes to my body. Never have any of the sores been in forms of clusters, no pain when urinating, no flu like symptoms.. nothing.. just these itchy thighs scabs on tip of penis. image

At this point im confused at what it could be and im asking for you're guys professional help.

    Hi shawn,

The description and the photos you've posted are consistent with SCABIES (Google).

It can be sexually-transmitted through intimate bodily contact with a person with the infestation. You and your partner/s need to get treated with permethrin or malathion; follow the treatment instructions carefully. And also get tested for other STDs.

The bumps on the penis are scabetic nodules (the mite burrows into the skin and causes these marks; see picture)- they can be treated with Eurax (crotamiton) cream, applied directly to the bumps as well as any other areas similarly affected.

    Rgds,

    Adhari
