My son had tubes placed 3 months ago and has a scab that formed around the tube. I do have an otoscope at home. The scab is not blocking to tube but is thick around it. His other ear does not have this. At his post op appt the ent said he wasn't concerned because she had just placed them, but that was 2 months ago and it is still there. Help....is this normal?
