scalp problems

My 15 year old daughter was diagnosis with Psoriasis on her arms when she was 4.  She has been on Topicort, dovobet, cortizone creme,..all adult doses as the milder childrens versions did nothing for her. While she's using these her plaque becomes red and irritated looking.  Now she has a spot on her scalp and we've tried OTC medicated shampoo, tea tree oil, Prescription shampoo..nothing seems to work and most give her very bad dandruff and very oily, greasy hair at the same time.  Anyone have any ideas or other concoctions that have worked for you?

My dermatologist prescribed Sebco which is a coal tar, coconut and sulphur compound based ointment. You leave it on for just 1 hour and then shampoo it out. You usually do this for 1 week if it is bad and then use a maintenance dose twice a week and then once a week. It has cleared my scalp psoriasis where nothing else had. It did not hurt or burn but is a little smelly but that passes obviously when washed out. It has been my salvation! You can either get it on prescription or buy it yourself from places like Amazon.
