Scans tomorrow, been feeling lousy, scared!!

Sorry to come in like this bearing all but im afraid. Im a 49 year old female with a long history of gerd and a hiatal hernia. Ive had my gall bladder removed but have still suffered for years with pretty regular hearburn and reflux radiating to my back that was somewhat managed by meds, but never completely. Over the past 2 months I've had loose stools and last 10 days or so diarrhea, sour stomach and horrible heartburn and asthma along with it. I've been on aciphex for months, and it's def not doing anything anymore. Doc even added pepcid and it's doing nothing. I saw my gi, and I saw my liver Dr, I do have an enlarged liver that she says is due to fatty liver disease. My blood work all looks normal . My last endoscopy and ct scan was 2 years ago. I have a ct scan tomorrow and endo and colonoscopy scheduled for November (as of now that is the soonest!). Im waiting for results of stool tests.

I just don't feel good and this is kicking up my anxiety. I've never felt so lousy for so long and even with the Dr saying he doesn't thing it's anything super scary I'm still scared and, I just don't feel well. I need to get some answers obviously but I wanted to know had anyone ever experienced something like this?

    Where are you living

    I'm in Canada

It's horrible to fill like this - no quality

I've spent a lot of time crying -

Were you tested for pylori bacteria and celiac disease - gluten ?

    Are you watching diet?

I know people take digestive enzymes and probiotics - and raise head of bed - eat 4 hours before bed etc

    Walk after you eat helps

Don't eat a lot at one time

Could be so many things - Irritable bowel - food sensitivities- stress - one step at a time - sucks I know - I know

So my CT scans came back clear which is good. But no answers and no relief. The soonest I can get the endo and colonoscopy is nov unless there is a cancellation. I feel so awful I don't know how I'm going to make it until then. Nothing gives me relief!! What the heck is this??

Totally sympathise with you hun . Chat have the same issues . Even the loose stools and cramps in bowel . Pain in gallbladder area . Acid reflux and chest pain . Been put on gaviscon and omeprozole but doesn't stop the silent reflux which affects my throat . My anxiety is through the roof . I need endoscopy too

I'm so sorry...its awful. I get the anxiety i often take something to help me sleep. Does anyone experience shortness of breath especially after eating? I just hung up with my gi and the nurse said there is no connection and I should speak to my gp. I actually have a pulmonologist and I was always under the impression there was a connection between asthma and gerd?
