    Hello,

I had a Cheilectomy on my great toe in 2017 and it didn't work. After 8 week of healing it still hurt so bad. So I ended up having a fusion on the toe. I'm am always in some sort of pain with it regardless what some say that there is no pain when you have a fusion, there is! lol

I would say go for the surgery if you can get some relief!

    Best of luck!

Thank you for responding. I had a arthrosurface hemi implant. It seemed great after about 2 to 3 weeks and then apparently the scar tissue began to grow underneath the bones. IDK but the pain on the bottom of my foot now outweighs the problem I had from the bone spur and arthritis on the top. It was so hard to wear shoes because they rubbed on the top and made excruciating pain. Now the same if not worse pain just putting my foot on the ground. I guess I'll do the MUA and pray and hope it helps!

I understand your pain completely! Wnen you think its going to be great and then it isn't. 😦 I had a bone spur and it split . I thought that pain was bad! And arthritis sets in so bad once you have surgery. Good luck with your choice! I hope it helps you! Keep us posted.
