Scar update

Hi all, just got back from the hospital where I was getting the steristrips and dressing removed. Unfortunately the scar still hasn't healed fully so had to have more steristrips and another dressing put on 😡 so no shower for me again til at least next Thursday. A bit gutted, was looking forward to a shower today!

Everything else is going great, I feel as though I'm getting more movement in my hip, thigh and knee. Not in pain very often either.

Best wishes to all hippies out there, regards Mark

Hi, it's because the scar has got to dry out now so the air will help it as well as not getting it wet. I did have waterproof dressing on it for the 1st 10 days or so but when I got the staples removed last Monday it hadn't healed fully so they but steri strips and dressing on. Went back today to get them removed and was told the same as Monday. Back there next Wednesday so hopefully all will be well, take care, Mark
