Scared.

So I've had Genital Herpes for close to a year now. I've been on suppressive therapy since maybe December of 2018.. I just ran out of medication yesterday & the dr's office is waiting to hear back from my dr to refill me. I'm petrified because I have to wait & in the meantime I don't want to have a breakout. I'm afraid it's going to be super painful. I don't know how to calm my nerves.

i would try not to get worked up and stressed as that could trigger an outbreak

exactly as above. try some deep breathing, some cbd oil, distraction. but honestly freaking out can really make it come out . easier said than done I know, but try to see it as essential as your other management techniques . Good luck mate 😃

Thank you. I've got the Vitamin C packets that you put in water & I've drunk 10000 Mg yesterday & I'll do it again today & Llysine? I'll have to go & see if I can find that.

keep vitamin c at 1000mg and lots of water. and llysine between 1000-2000mg.

they arent entirely proven to help by the scientific community but it shows that the virus doesnt prefer it so it can help.

    you probably will get one!

i did when i took a break from my antivirals. but it was very very minor! just took lysine and dabbed tea tree oil on it and it was gone in 3 days 😃

Really? Can you tell me all about it, like the reoccurrence. What was it like? Did you have one or a few ulcers? Was it small? Pain level on a scale of 1-10??

for me, reoccurances aren't bad. just like a pinching feeling when fabric rubs against it, but only lasts 1-2 days

I know everybody is different, I don't want to seem weird by asking.. but can you tell me what the reoccurrence is like? I'm not sure if I've ever had one due to being on the antivirals.

it just feels like a pimple. its a little painful when pressure it put on it or when something rubs against it
