I am so sorry to hear you are feeling the way you do. I have been having anxiety for the past 2 months . It feels so bad and you feel so alone. Dont worry it will pass .I am doing some breathing techniques which sometimes help .Breathe in deeply to the count of 4 and breathe out longer to double if you can. Another thing I do is countdown from 25 whenever the anxiety peaks . I hope this helps .

Hi Jill,
I'm so sorry you are going through this. Peri is indeed beyond awful. I too went through the extreme anxiety that kept me up through the night, pacing my house going crazy and terrified. I knew it was wrong that this was beyond my normal anxiety/panic disorder. It wasn't long before i discovered it was part of Peri symptoms. since i went on HRT patches it has all eased.
It really is crazy to see so many of us suffering with similar and often the same symptoms and and yet GP's are still so slow at figuring out that these things are all related to peri and meno....... I hope you find something to relieve your symptoms. Just remember you're not alone. we are all in this together. Hang in there

This is how peri started for me. Up in the middle of the night, pacing and terrified I was dying. Now, 7 years or so in, a little less. I had all kinds of tests, saw lots of doctors. All came out okay, just hormonal and anxiety. I, too, use breathing, meditative self reflection and walking. A counselor really helped. Vitamins, herbs, massage, walks with friends, whatever supports you. I hope you feel more like yourself soon. Blessings.
