Scared

hi everyone

I'm 33 always had some periods of itching and burning nothing too severe I had a bad itch 3 weeks ago and cut my labia. I checked the mirror cut was very superficial but I noticed on my perineum a white patch and a little dark looking bruise about 3mm with some smaller surrounding medium and literally dots.

I thought I have injured it it will clear up it did not! scared stiff I plucked the courage up to go to my gp who took one look and said lichen sclerosus and a very obvious case located from my fourchette to my anus (I have major bowel problems and itching in that area now I know why).

anyway the red dots have gone and the smaller medium purplish brown ones have now gone red but the 3mm one still looks the same in photos way lighter but worry this is just lighting as in the mirror I dont see much difference.

the GP didn't seem concerned i asked about melanoma she said no i asked any cancer she said if i thought it looked cancerous I would be sending you urgently for a biopsy. which made me feel better she said bruises burst blood vessels purpura are common with this disease and gave me clobestol and iv to go back for a check up in 6 weeks.

does anyone else get Mark's like this? will the clobestol help clear it? how long did it take? as it's been 3 weeks since I noticed it I thought it would be almost gone by now i only started the clobestol 2 days ago.

I'm worrying seeing on google purpura clears in 2 to 4 weeks but mines doesnt look any better.
